Materials: A “treasure” to be found, Paper for clues, Pen or pencil.
Step 1: Pick a treasure, such as a piece of candy or a book. A theme is also fun, try a pirate’s hunt or an alphabet treasure hunt, where each clue leads to something starting with the next letter of the alphabet.
Step 2: Each clue leads to a location where the next clue will be found. For example, the first clue may be “the place where you get clean,” with the next clue found in the bathtub, leading to the kitchen with a clue like “where you find good things to eat.” The final clue leads to the treasure.
Step 3: You could use a picture for each clue – a picture of a bathtub leads to the next clue, which is a picture of the kitchen.
